Strategies to Flee from Sexual Thoughts
Introduction Today, let’s talk about something many of us struggle with keeping our minds pure and avoiding sexual thoughts. As believers, we sometimes find ourselves listening to secular songs that trigger sexual urges, or watching romantic movies that lead to negative thoughts about sex. We may wonder why these thoughts persist despite our prayers and fasting. Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out (Matthew 5:29). This teaches us that there are things we need to deny ourselves to keep our hearts pure. Fill Your Mind with Positive and Godly Thoughts Paul tells us in Philippians 4:8 to focus on true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable things.
